Folding pallets are used especially for the stationary production of double walls, just like tilting tables, they are ideal for the production of solid wall elements, sandwich wall elements or for facades. They are used everywhere where the principle “produce horizontal – remove vertical shuttering work" is a pre-requisite due to the transportation logistics or structural reinforcement requirements.

The folding pallet consists of two table halves layered with shuttering steel and a stabile foundation framework. By using a hydraulic system,table half 1 can be moved from a horizontal position along the longitudinal axis by approx. 180 degrees over table half 2. Thus, a previously finished, and cured, 1st shell from the double wall is vibrated into the fresh concrete of the 2nd layer of the double wall which is laying on the other table half.To release the double wall element,the table half 2 is raised vertically by 80 degrees.

A folding pallet is ideal for forming flat precast elements.

Different longitudinal formwork systems are available:

• Fixed, folding and/or adjustable formwork profiles optionally with grouted joints for solid element production

• Formwork profile for double wall production

The compaction of products on the folding pallet occurs through

• external vibrators with central frequency transformers
  
  

For accelerated curing of the concrete, the folding pallet can be heated by using thermal oil or hot water, heat sensor pipes are attached below the plate for this purpose, which enable a fast and equal transmission of heat.

Quality
The folding pallets are produced according to the WECKENMANN quality standards, high-quality steel plates with regulated flatness tolerances are used.

The folding pallet can easily be, on request, completely planned in either a new or an existing building in order to receive an optimal material output. The planning is based on the concept of planned production performance, taking into account any equipment required for cleaning, oiling, reinforcement, plotting, concrete dispersion and lifting.

The required stop end is developed with regard to the intended product spectrum and adjusted for the folding pallet.
